The KAT-TUN is a J-pop group formed by six young children under the agency of Johnny's, one of the most important projects at the level of male band (founded in 1963 by Johnny Kitagawa) and holds the rights to the groups like SMAP, TOKIO, Kinki Kids, Arashi, NEWS and Kanjani8. It could almost be considered a Hello! Project masculine. KAT-TUN The name is formed from the initials of family members of the band (Kamenashi Kazuya 亀 梨 和 也, 赤 西 仁 Akanishi Jin, Taguchi Junnosuke 田 口 淳 之 介, 田中 圣 Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda 上 田 竜 也 e Nakamaru Yuichi, 中丸雄一).

Il successo é immediato e strepitoso, il 23 marzo 2006 esce il loro primo singolo "Real Face", il loro primo album "BEST of KAT-TUN" e il loro primo DVD "Real Face Film", tutti e tre debuttano al 1° posto dell' Oricon Chart con il singolo "Real Face" primo per tre settimane consecutive (It was in 1999 that an individual did not stay for so long a first in class!) By selling 1,045,783 copies in the end, their first album sold 750,209 copies and 475,507 copies of Real Face Film.
Another star will shine among the many boy-bands branded Johnny's, their second single "Signal" is again another success, although the likes of Real Face, selling 569,527 copies.
On October 12, 2006, with gande despair of his fans, Akanishi Jin decides to leave the band for some time to study English in the United States. The
KAT-TUN but certainly do not stop and leave the single "Bokura no Machi de "and the album" Cartoon KAT-TUN II U ". On April 19, 2007
Jin returns from the United States and rejoins the group and 6 June 2007 they released their umpteenth hit single "Yorokobi no Uta".
The success of KAT-TUN is also largely due to their good looks (no denying listening ...), but wonder how their music is still of good quality and probably would have had good success without their beautiful presence.
